Bill Miller

August 28th, 2008

We had a chance to do a photo shoot with Shayna’s dad who is an excellent musician. Hopefully his record label will decide to use some of the shots for his upcoming projects. We hung out at the Factory in Franklin to get these great shots. If you get a chance check out Bill’s music at Bill Miller Myspace Also check out his touring schedule and try an catch him in concert. His shows are out of this world.

Senior Photos

We had an excellent shoot with Hope in Nashville, Tn. She was a natural and she definitely made our job easy. We all had a blast driving around Nashville trying to find some cool rustic places. Some of the spots we chose had some sketchy looking homeless guys hanging around but it was worth every minute because we came out with some incredible shots. Here are a few from this shoot.

Tire Swing ‘N Good ‘Ole Time

August 28th, 2008

Trey and Taylor were SO much fun. We started out in Downtown Franklin, Tn and wound up at Gentry’s Farm. Gentry’s Farm is a century farm which means it has been around for a LONG time. So the vibe was very much what we are all about… old, rustic, and awesome! So we swung on the tire swings, we sat on an old red truck, and we enjoyed the beauty of this historic place all the while capturing some amazing photos. Thanks to the folks at Gentry’s Farm for letting use their wonderful site. Check out their website for more info: www.gentryfarm.com

Senior Photos

Our good buddy Ches did such an awesome job on this shoot! He was pretty much a natural, like working with a professional model. These pictures turned out great and we had a lot of fun taking them! Keep in mind all these photos were taken outside and no backdrops were used. We do everything we can to stay outside and use nature as our backdrop. There was a beautiful sunset that only God could have painted. We were fortunate to have had perfect weather… other than the pesky gnats.

Wild Horses… not really

August 28th, 2008

The horses were actually very tame. This was a fun shoot out on a farm in Chula. The Salier’s are a great family and I had a fun time getting to know them. We fought the rain and had an amazing shoot. The horses were beautiful and the gnats were terrible but through it all we got some great shots! Check out this slide show from the shoot.

Campaign photo shoot

August 28th, 2008

We did a campaign photo shoot for Senator Joseph Carter yesterday who is running for Superior Court Judge. He and his family were very kind and we had a good time hanging out with them. Luckily the rain stopped once we started the photo shoot! Here are a couple pictures from the day.

WAY - WAY BEHIND

August 28th, 2008

We hope that everyone is doing well. We have traveled from Georgia to the southern tip of Florida and back through Atlanta to Nashville and all the way back to Tifton in 3 weeks time. Traveling over 4000 miles. In the middle of all the traveling we had some small pregnancy complications and got to spend 3 nights in the Tift Regional Hospital. We have shot 10 photo shoots since our last blog. So needless to say we are sleep deprived and road weary. Nevertheless we are hoping to get caught up soon so that we can keep you up to date with what’s going on with us. Hopefully we’ll be posting some blogs over the next few days. By the way Shayna is fine and baby is perfect. Keep us in your prayers we only have 6 weeks left until our due date.

See you soon,

Matt

Hot hot heat

August 5th, 2008

We really are enjoying these senior portrait sessions! We had a great one the other day with Sara and she brought along her boyfriend too! For this shoot we got to hop around the town of Omega. You would think there’s not much to be found in this area, but we found lots of fun, colorful, and rugged spots to take some great pictures. Besides the ridiculous heat and gross gnats flying in our faces, we truly all enjoyed our time together and we were able to get some cool shots.

Ashley and Laura’s wedding

August 1st, 2008

Picture a mountain full of life that overlooks a beautiful valley. Now add bright colors of ribbons and flowers, with shades of brown and one white dress. This was the wedding of Ashley and Laura. What a treat to be able to photograph a wedding on breathtaking Lookout Mountain, Georgia! Everyone was holding their breath and saying prayers that the rain would hold off and clear up in time for the ceremony. And guess what? The clouds rolled away and the sun shined brightly on all of us. These are a few of our favorites from the mountain wedding.

Our Town - Tifton Magazine - Photo Shoot

July 16th, 2008

We are so honored to be a part of the new Tifton magazine called “Our Town”. For the cover shoot we spent some time with the Jones family of Jones Construction. What a wonderful family! We had such a good time getting to know them, hear the stories of their childhood, and learn of the heritage and tradition that makes this family so special. We don’t want to give the story away so enjoy these photos and look for the magazine to come out sometime in August!

Jeremy showing that he has still got the moves.

Well, what can you say? Like father, like son.
